Suppose for reference you need to copy the text from a PDF file, then, obviously, you can’t just copy paste. The process is bit complex. First you need to convert it to a text file. A free tool known as A-PDF does exactly that. You can extract text from the PDF file using A-PDF easily. Download and install this small application on your computer. Click on “Open” button and select the PDF file on your computer.
It will show the location of the file and number of pages on its interface. Press “Extract text” button to start the process. It takes a few seconds depending upon the size of PDF file to pull out the text.
You can select the range of pages starting which you want to extract the text. For example, if you want to extract page number 4 to page number 6 then fill the number 4 and 6 in the box titled “Page from”. There is also an option to extract text from odd and even pages. You can also smartly rearrange PDF files using the corresponding option.
After conversion a small dialog box appears prompting you to open the extracted text file. Click on “Yes” button to open it in a notepad.
